After moving to Florida Yvonne worked for many years as a retail clerk for Bealls Department Store until her retirement in August 2011.She enjoyed bowling, needlepoint, crossword puzzles and Monday Night Wrestling Matches. Family was everything to her and she was a mother to all. She was there to pick us up and dusted us off when we fell. She wiped our tears and bandaged our scrapes and cuts. She always expected us to do our best at whatever we were doing and expected no less. She was the disciplinarian, but with a loving tone. She was always giving of herself and expected little in return. She was caring, she was living, she was our mother. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 58 years, James W., Sr. She was predeceased by her daughter Mary Martin, brother Edward Davenport, and 4 grandchildren; Jeffrey Adams, Mary Adams, Jodi Temple, and Matthew McLaughlin.
