Wojtek J. Turbiasz

Johnstown- Wojtek J.” Tek” Turbiasz, 48, of Michael Circle, passed away at home on Wednesday, July 24, 2024. 

Born in Wroclaw, Poland, Tek was the son of Jacek and Stasia Bartnik Turbiasz of Averill Park and husband of Tina Quintano Turbiasz of Ravena. Tek moved to the United States in February 1986 with his family where they settled in Averill Park. Tek was a graduate of the Averill Park High School Class of 1993 and graduated from Herkimer Community College in 1995. Tek worked jobs in restaurants in the Buffalo and Capital District area. At the time of his death, he was a stock clerk for Walmart in Gloversville.

Tek enjoyed cooking, R/C Flying, Ham Radio and was working to obtain his pilot’s license.

Survivors in addition to his wife and parents include his daughter Nisa Lynn (Jacob) Migdal of Lakewood, WA., his sons Aidan Jacek and Richard Bret Turbiasz both of Ravena and his sister Dr. Agnes (Bret) Gelder of Wynantskill.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call 4-7 pm on Monday July 29, 2024 at the Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel 2691 NY 43 at Glass Lake Averill Park.
