Troy- Warren D. “Shorty” Brust, 64, of Packer Ave., died on Monday, January 15, 2018 at the Samaritan Hospital in Troy after a short illness. Born in Troy, Warren was the son of the late David C. and Hilda Freemantle Brust. Warren was a lifelong resident of the area had served in the Army during Vietnam and was a self- employed handyman.
Survivors include his wife Robin Brown Brust, his children Angela Brust of West Sand Lake, Shawn Brust of Sand Lake and Brian Brust of Albany, sisters Carol Denue, Nancy (Red) Mason, Susan (Bob) Navarra, Sharon (Rod) Smith, Betty (Keith) Hull, Laurie (Billy) Marriner, Ellen (Randy) Smith brother Paul Brust along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and many caring friends.
A memorial service will be held in the early spring at the West Stephentown Baptist.
