Stephentown- Thomas W. “Terrible Tom” Gardner, 58, of Rte. 22 died on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at his residence after a long illness. Born in Troy and a lifelong resident of Stephentown, Tom was the son of the late William and Irene S. Langlais Gardner. Tom was a graduate of the Berlin High School and prior to his illness had worked for Zwack Inc. in Stephentown where he had been a fabricator for many years. Tom enjoyed hunting.
Survivors include his wife Robin Sayers Gardner, his children Amanda (Mike) Boecker of Stephentown, Dalton Gardner of Beckett, MA and April Gardner of Lee, MA., his sisters Charlotte (Jerry) Garneau of Brooksville, Fla.; Nora Fitzpatrick of Troy and Mary Gilbert of Stephentown. Tom was also survived by his 9 grandchildren and his canine companion Bella and the late Sadie. Tom was the brother of the late Theresa Purdy and William Gardner.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, November 26 at 11:00am at the Jesus in Lord Ministries Church 366 Rte. 43 Stephentown, NY.
