Poestenkill- Thomas J. Lemner, 79, of Snyder’s Corners Road, died on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at Rosewood Rehabilitation and Nursing Center after a long illness. Born in Troy, Tom was the son of the late Joseph F. and Stasia V. Grygatis Lemner. Tom was a lifelong resident of Poestenkill and was educated in the Troy Schools where he was a graduate of Troy High. He served in the Army from 1963-1966. He had been employed at Ford Motor and the D&H Railroad before working for Freihofers Bakery in Albany, a job he held for many years and retired from in the early 1990’s. Tom enjoyed hunting and fishing in the Adirondacks and gardening at his home. He was a communicant of St. Henry’s Church in Averill Park. Tom was the brother of Joseph F. (Deanna) Lemner Jr. of Rotterdam, Dennis J. (Ruth Petell) Lemner of New Lebanon, Robert S. (Deborah) Lemner and Mary Grace (David Shields) Bulson both of Brunswick, Kenneth (Jeanne) Lemner of Ferrisburgh, VT. and the late Jack Lemner. Also survived by several Nieces and Nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Mass at 10:30 am on Monday, July 18, 2022 at St. Henrys Church 39 Old Rte. 66 Averill Park. If desired donations in memory of Thomas J.
