Colonie- Thomas B. Clark, 50, of Exchange St. died on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at St. Peters Hospice Inn after a long illness. Born in Troy, Tom was the son of the Thomas W. and Rosemary Close Clark of Poestenkill. Tom was raised in Poestenkill and was a 1984 graduate of the Averill Park High School. Tom had a passion for anything mechanical. His working career started with Terry Lacasse in Hoags Corners where he was a mechanic working there for 20 years working on Volkswagens. For the past 6 years Tom had been a Diesel Mechanic working for Freihofers in Albany. Tom enjoyed fishing was a fan of Lebanon Valley stock car racing and NASCAR racing.
Survivors in addition to his parents include his children Maryrose and Thomas Clark both of Wynantskill, his longtime companion Christine Clifford of Colonie, his sisters Ann (Michael) Bedard of Sand Lake and Susan Clark of West Sand Lake, former wife Donna Hunt Clark of Wynantskill and nieces Stephanie Cosimano and Christina Bedard. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel 2691 NY 43 at Glass Lake Averill Park on Tuesday 4-7 p.m. Interment Brookside Cemetery, Barbersville.If desired donations in memory of Thomas B. Clark may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
