Rolenda L. McMaugh

Wynantskill- Rolenda L. McMaugh, 78 of Mammoth Spring Road passed quietly away at her beloved home on Wednesday, October 4, 2023. Born in Albany, Linda was the daughter of the late Harry and Ruth Proniske Meracle and the beloved wife of the late John E. McMaugh. Linda grew up in East Greenbush and was a graduate of Columbia High School. She worked for Hamilton Printing before her children were born then became a stay-at-home mom until working for Questar as a Teaching Assistant in various locations, the last being in Schodack.Rolenda enjoyed horses when she was younger and with her daughters as they grew up. She was a gifted artist, including painting and drawing. She enjoyed the outdoors including gardening, was very spiritual with nature and rescued more than one furry critter to become part of her home. She was most happy to be home and surrounded by friends and family.

Survivors include her daughters Kathleen McMaugh (Doug Groenewald) and Kimberly McMaugh, her grandchildren Aaron Mosher (Kendyl Jones) and Jordan Mosher (Sam DeMio) andher great grandson Grant, her sisters Mildred (Douglas) Canfield and Christine (Robert) Lockwood along with many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Rolenda was the sister of the late Lawrence Meracle.

Rolenda has gone to be with the love of her life, John, and will be reunited with him at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.

She was a beautiful caring soul who will be missed by all who had the privilege to know her and be a part of her life.
