Rensselaer- Nancy A. Kiehl, 69, of Van Allen Way, formerly of Schenectady, died on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at the Evergreen Commons Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in East Greenbush after a short illness. Born in Troy, Nancy was the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen MacDonald Honsinger and the wife of James W. Kiehl. Nancy grew up in Troy and was a graduate of Troy High. She spent most of her working career in food service, waitressing, working at Dunkin Donuts and was manager of MacDonalds in Colonie. She enjoyed playing Bingo, visiting the Casinos, fishing, bowling, cruising and traveling. When she was younger Nancy had hitch hiked across the country. Nancy was the mother of the late Christine M. Burdick and sister of the late Gary (Ellen) Honsinger. Survivors in addition to her husband include her children Kyle J. (Toni DeMarco) Burdick of Greenville, NC, Michael J. Burdick of No. Greenbush and Tammy M. (Bill Freelove) Burdick of Center Brunswick, her sister Patricia (James) Malo of Mississippi, her brother Joseph (Beverly) Honsinger of Waterford and grandsons Stephen and Scott Burdick.
