Madeline D. Henrikson

Poestenkill-Madeline D. Henrikson, 90, of Rte. 66 Wynantskill peacefully passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023 at the Van Rensselaer Manor after a long illness. Born in Troy, Madeline was the daughter of the late Elmer and Indiana Bickford Jones and the beloved wife of Ronald W. Henrikson.

Madeline grew up in Berlin and had resided in Poestenkill for many years. She was retired from Capital Cardiology in Albany where she had been a billing clerk. She had formerly been an auditor at the Travelers Insurance Co. in Colonie. Madeline was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed her daily walks along Main Ave. in Wynantskill.

Madeline was the sister of the late Millicent Gagliardi, Robert, Donald, Walter, Lester, Harold, Howard and Gordon Jones.

In addition to her husband Madeline is survived by her children JoAnn (Brett) Pierce of Clifton Park, Eric (Christine) Weber of Palm Coast, Fla. and Lori Henrikson of Albany along with 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call 4-7 pm on Thursday, December 21 at the Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel 2691 NY 43 at Glass Lake Averill Park.

Funeral Service 11 am Friday, December 22 at the Funeral Chapel.

Interment in the Holy Spirit Lutheran Cemetery, Glenmont, NY.
