Linda M. Bonesteel

Sand Lake- Linda M. Bonesteel, 60, a longtime resident of Sand Lake passed away peacefully on Monday, March 3, 2025 at the Albany Medical Center Hospital after a long illness. 

Born in Brooklyn, Linda was the daughter of the late Salvator Biscotti and the late Claire O’Leary Greene. Linda’s family moved to the Sand Lake area when she was 15. Linda was a 1984 graduate of the Averill Park High School. Linda held various jobs including as a monitor at the West Sand Lake Elementary School and a cashier at the Hannaford in West Sand Lake. Linda had been a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Taborton Fire Company. Linda was best at being a great mom and Mimi to her grandchildren.

Survivors include her devoted sons Ethan (Emily) Bonesteel and Garrett (Brittany) Bonesteel, her brother John (Sheri) Biscotti, her sister Laurie (Bela) Schuch, her grandchildren Kinsley, Owen and Bentley along with her former husband and father of her sons Craig Bonesteel.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Service 9:30 am on Saturday, March 8, 2025 followed by a time of visitation from 10-12 noon at the Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel 2691 NY 43 at Glass Lake Averill Park, NY.
