Kristina M. Gordon

Troy- Kristina M. Gordon, 55, of Freeman Ave. passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at her summer residence in Grafton. Born in Denville, New Jersey, Kristina was daughter of the late Francis and Judith Walz Geise and the beloved wife of Michael L. Gordon. Krisina’s family moved to Eagle Mills in the late 1960’s and then to Poestenkill in 1971 where Kristina grew up. She was a 1986 graduate of the Averill Park High School and was a graduate of HVCC with a degree in Radiologic Technology. Kristina was a Mammography Tech at the Albany Memorial Hospital for a number of years.

Kristina enjoyed her time at the family camp, vacationing in and the beaches of Maine and was a member of 4-H for many years where she participated in the Schaghticoke Fair and even the NYS fair. She enjoyed dancing as a young person especially ballet. She enjoyed sewing and Quilting. Kristina donated quilts to Quilts for Kids, Care Quilts to Women’s Cancer Care Assoc. and participated in weekend Quilt retreats.

Survivors in addition to her husband include her son Kyle Gordon of Troy, her brother Eric (Micheline) Geise of Wynantskill and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to call 4-7 pm on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at the Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel 2691 NY 43 at Glass Lake Averill Park.

A graveside service will be held at 1pm on Friday, August 23, 2023 at St. Michaels Cemetery Penn Yann, NY.

The family requests in place of customary flowers that donations in memory of Kristina M. Gordon be made to the Grafton Rescue Squad PO Box 117 Grafton, NY 12082 or the Northeast Kidney Foundation PO Box 38072 Albany, NY 12206.
