New Baltimore- June N. Satterwhite, 75 of Tower Road Ext., passed away at her home on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at her residence after a long illness. Born in Troy, June was the daughter of the late Fred and Lucy Green Herman and wife of the late Thomas L. Satterwhite. June grew up in Taborton, Sand Lake and was a 1966 graduate of the Averill Park High School. June received an LPN certificate from Albany Medical Center and worked there from 1968 to 1976. It was at Albany Med that she met her husband. June changed careers and became a phlebotomist working at Albany Med and in the late 1980’s she went to work at Labcorp before her retirement. June had resided in her daughters home in New Baltimore since 2016 and had previously resided in Glenmont. She was a member of the Jehovah’s Witness and enjoyed reading and knitting. She was happy to be surrounded by her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
Survivors include her daughters Tracy (Darryl) Ford of New Baltimore and Erin Satterwhite of Clifton Park, her sister Marie (David) Hebert of Glenmont 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service 12 noon on Monday, October 16, 2023 at the Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel 2691 NY 43 at Glass Lake Averill Park followed by burial in the Taborton Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited and may also call 11-12 noon prior to the funeral service.
A service to be announced, will be held in the future at the Bethlehem Congregation of the Jehovah Witness, Selkirk and on Zoom
