Joseph M. Flanagan

North Greenbush- Joseph M. Flanagan, 43, of Snyders Lake Road, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023 at his residence. Born in Troy, Joe was the beloved son of Mark A. Flanagan of North Greenbush and Pamela Heffner (Mike) Fleming of Rogersville, TN. Joe was a lifelong resident of the area and was a 1998 graduate of the Averill Park High School. Joe had attended HVCC and had a 23 year career with UPS in Latham where he had been a driver. He was an avid golfer and had worked maintenance at the Burden Lake Country Club for 11 years. He was a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, the Boston Red Sox, enjoyed music and concerts, sports events including Siena Basketball, playing Pool and Darts. Joe was a member of the Emerald Athletic Club in Troy.

Survivors in addition to his parents include his sister Rachel (Gerard) Flanagan of Johnson City, TN. his brother and best friend Jeremy Flanagan of North Greenbush, a niece and 3 nephews, several Aunts Uncles and Cousins. Joe was the grandson of the late Chester and Evelyn Heffner and the late Richard and Elizabeth Flanagan.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Joe’s family 4-7 pm on Thursday May 25, 2023 at the Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel 2691 NY 43 at Glass Lake Averill Park.
