West Sand Lake- Jason M. TenEyck, of West Sand Lake, NY, passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, August, 5, 2017. Born on September 1, 1981 in Albany New York, he was 35 years old. Jason was a lifelong resident of the area, and was a 1999 graduate of Averill Park High School.
Jason was the beloved son of Michael R. TenEyck and Susan Primeau TenEyck. Survivors in addition to his parents include his devoted brother Michael J. TenEyck of East Nassau, NY. He is survived by his paternal Grandfather, Ronald S. TenEyck of Averill Park, NY, and several Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. Jason was the grandson of the late Verena TenEyck, and Aubrey and Beatrice Primeau.
Jason had an incredible way of making a room light up with his larger than life personality, smile and presence. He loved so many things about life. His greatest passion was his love of the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman and loved camping with his family on the Great Sagandaga. Most recently he was employed by Dave Browe Paving Company in West Sand Lake, NY. He was an avid NY Mets and Dallas Cowboy Fan. He enjoyed listening to country music. He was loved by so many people. Although his life on this earth was far too brief, he made an huge imprint on the many lives he touched. He will be remembered for his heart of gold, his love of animals, his keen sense of humor, his crazy antics, and his fuller than life beard. Jason will be missed forever by all. Love you always, and forever. May you rest peacefully in the arms of Our Lord.
Funeral service 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 10 at the Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel 2691 NY 43 at Glass Lake Averill Park with interment to follow at the Sand Lake Union Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the Funeral Chapel 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday August 9.
The family suggests donations in memory of Jason M. TenEyck be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY 12205.
