Herbert W. Dobert Jr.

Troy- Herbert W. Dobert Jr., 71, of Fifth Ave., passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at his residence. Born in Troy and a longtime resident of Poestenkill, Herb was the son of the late Herbert W. Dobert Sr. and Ann Fryer Dobert. Herb was a graduate of the Averill Park High School and had been a longtime employee of the former Ebell & Son Box Company.

Herb was the brother of the late Sharon Forbes who passed away on December 1, 2024.

Survivors include his sister Shirley Cunningham, his brothers Daniel, Lewis, William, and Dennis Dobert along with many nieces and nephews.
