Averill Park- Gary R. Cusson, 53, of Taborton Road, Town of Nassau died on Monday January 14, 2013 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Troy after a brief illness. Born in Troy Gary was the son of the late Leo J. and Frances T. McClay Cusson and husband of Linda Shackett Cusson. Gary was raised in Poestenkill and was a 1977 graduate of the Averill Park High School. Gary had been a distribution mail carrier for the postal service and then had worked as a driver for Folmsbee Transportation in Troy. Gary was the brother of the late Larry Cusson and grandfather of the late Mackenzie Cusson. Survivors in addition to his wife include his daughters Ashley Cusson of Hudson and Laura Cusson of Averill Park, his brother Donald (Sherry) Cusson of Poestenkill, his sisters Ann Naylor of Troy, Caroline (Andrew) Kehn of Waterford, Gail (Wesley) Guilianelle of Texas, Judy (Homer) Osgood of Poestenkill and Lori (Richard) Chevalier of Cohoes.
