Poestenkill- Edward P. Law Jr., 40, of Rte. 66 Wynantskill died suddenly on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at the Samaritan Hospital in Troy after being stricken at his residence. Born in Troy, Ed was the son of Tina Dayter Rankin of Cohoes and the late Edward P. Law Sr. Ed was a lifelong resident of the area and had worked for Gallivan Corp. as a landscaper and had also been a self employed painter. Ed was an electronics geek and enjoyed being a DJ.
Ed was the brother of the late Roger Law.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his daughters Laura Lee O’Connell of Poestenkill and Kassandra Law of Albany, his step father Edward Rankin of Cohoes, his companion Nicole Briggs and her children Bret and Bo Schaefer of Poestenkill, his brothers and sisters Thomas Law, Tonya Law, Brandon Law, Donald Law, Kodie Rankin and Shanna Rankin all of Cohoes. Also survived by several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel 2691 NY 43 at Glass Lake Averill Park on Wednesday 3-5:30 with a service to follow at 5:30.
