Donna C. Winters

West Sand Lake- Donna C. Winters, 71, of Rte. 150 passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at the Samaritan Hospital after a long illness. Born in Troy, Donna was the daughter of the late Laverne C. and Doris B. Miller Dobert and the beloved wife of Francis E. Winters Jr. Donna grew up on Bott Lane in Brunswick and was a graduate of the Tamarac High School. After her marriage she lived in Berlin for a short time and in West Sand Lake for the past 47 years. Donna had worked at the Walmart Pharmacy in East Greenbush for 27 years before retiring. She enjoyed tent camping and time with her family.

Survivors in addition to her husband include her children Shelly (John) Aiken of Waldon, NY, Michael (Amanda) Winters of Brunswick and Stacy (Marc) Petrillose of Fort Johnson, NY, her brother Douglas J. Dobert of Nassau, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Donna was the sister of the late Ronald C. (Lynn) Dobert.

Funeral Service 10 am Friday, October 20, 2023 at the Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel 2691 NY 43 at Glass Lake Averill Park with burial to follow in the Eagle Mills Cemetery.
