Dennis J. Carl

Wynantskill- Dennis J. Carl, 73, of Atlantic Ave. passed away suddenly on Friday, October 18, 2024 at the Samaritan Hospital from injuries sustained in a pedestrian-auto accident on Main Ave. in Wynantskill.

Born in Troy, Dennis was the son of the late Edward Carl Sr. and Josephine Yetto Carl. Dennis was a lifelong resident of Wynantskill. Dennis was a longtime communicant of St. Jude the Apostle where he volunteered to help in any way possible. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Jude and was a life member of the Wynantskill Fire Company. Dennis enjoyed his daily walks thru Wynantskill to get his coffee and scratch offs and bowled for many years at the former Hi Way Bowl in Wynantskill

Dennis was the brother of Patricia (Thomas P.) Danaher of Averill Park and the late Raymond Carl, Joseph Carl Sr., Edward J. Carl Jr., Alma Ross and Paul Carl. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call 4-7 pm on Tuesday October 22, 2024 at St. Jude the Apostle Church, Brookside Ave. Wynantskill.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 am on Wednesday October 23 at St. Jude the Apostle Church.

Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Troy, NY where Dennis will be laid to rest beside his parents.
