Averill Park- Dale E. Hall, 75, of Totem Lodge Road died on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at the Evergreen Commons Nursing & Rehab Center after a long illness. Born in Troy, Dale was the son of the late Earl J. and Evelyn Gardner Hall and husband of 52 years to Phyllis Osher Hall. Dale was a lifelong resident of the area and was a 1962 graduate of the Averill Park High School. Dale started his working career with the state of New York and then worked for the former Whitbeck Motors in Sales before joining UPS in 1972 as a delivery driver until retiring in 1987 due to health issues.  Dale was a 50 year member of the Sand Lake Kiwanis Club, serving as president from 1994-95. He served as a NY Division Key Club Advisor as well as the Averill Park High School Key Club Advisor.  Dale was also a Kiwanian International Hexon Fellow.  Dale enjoyed hunting and was a member of the West Stephentown Rod & Gun Club.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and 2 grandchildren.
Survivors in addition to his wife include his children Daniel A. Hall of Cropseyville, Denise A. (Rudy) Hall of Kinderhook, Jonathan J. (Tonya) Hall of Rotterdam and Carrie A. Hall of Troy, his brothers Gary (Edie) Hall of Averill Park and Greg Hall of West Sand Lake, his grandchildren Hayley E. Buechs and Timothy E. Hall.  Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the staff of the ER especially Dr. John Paige as well as the Dr’s and staff  of the ICU and the 6th Floor at Samaritan Hospital for the wonderful care given to Dale and family during his stay.
Per Dale’s wishes there will be no services.
