Averill Park- Alice D. Reiniger, 81, of Fisher Road died on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at the Evergreen Commons in East Greenbush after a long illness. Born in Troy, Alice was the daughter of the late Elnathan J. and Catholene Honsinger McFee and the wife of the late Donald J. Reiniger. Alice grew up in Taborton, Sand Lake and attended the Averill Park Schools. She resided in Sand Lake her entire life and was a homemaker. Alice loved to cook, was a fan of Hallmark Movies, and liked to place bets on racehorses and the lottery. She was happiest when surrounded by her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Alice was the last of her siblings that included Anna Mae Gazaw, David McFee, Velma Dobert, Oswald “Jimmy” McFee, Delores Williams, Elnathan McFee Jr and Jeffery McFee. Survivors include her children Clay A. (Mary) Reiniger of Averill Park, Glenn L. (Joanna) Reiniger of Watervliet , and Elaine (Paul) Agresta of Valatie, her grandchildren Clay Eric (Heather), Kassandra (Tyler), Lindsay, Glenn Anthony, Taylor and Kevin, her great grandchildren McKynzie, Keira, Aria and Finley, along with several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her good friend Kathleen Winters. Relatives and friends are invited to call 4-7 pm on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at the Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel 2691 NY 43 at Glass Lake Averill Park. A Funeral Service will be held 10 am Wednesday, November 16 at the Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at the Elmwood Cemetery, West Sand Lake.
